Trigger Points

Many clients say, "My muscles didn't hurt until you started pressing them". This is often because they contain trigger points. Muscle problems should be treated before they turn into debilitating pain or even greater dysfunction. Perhaps you've experienced just a little weakness, a twinge of pain, or a small limitation in range of motion and have written it off as due to ageing, tendonitis or an old injury. These small problems are usually caused by latent trigger points and over time they can snowball into more profound troubles. Other muscles may take on the job of the weakened muscle, and then those muscles get trigger points too and may start referring pain elsewhere. With regular treatment ( I usually recommend once a month) trigger points can be alleviated and muscles can function at their optimal level.
